The sacred text of Ayurveda, Caraka Samhita, calls sesame oil the best of all oils. Ayurveda most certainly has a love affair with this oil & after using it, it is easy to see why! Sesame oil is traditionally used in Ayurvedic body oil formulations due to its warming, grounding & calming effects on the nervous system. It is highly nourishing & moisturizing, bringing deep hydrating relief to dry skin. Brahmi
