Sesame Oil

Tiny seeds, with a powerful punch, sesame seeds have been used for over 3,500 years in the Mediterranean and India for their powerful healing effects. The sacred text of Ayurveda, Caraka Samhita, calls sesame oil the best of all oils. Ayurveda most certainly has a love affair with this oil and after using it, it is easy to see why! Sesame oil is traditionally used in Ayurvedic body oil formulations due to its warming, grounding and calming effects on the nervous system. It is highly nourishing and moisturizing, bringing deep hydrating relief to dry skin. Ashwagandha

One of the most important Ayurvedic herbs, ashwagandha root has been used for over 3,000 years to relieve stress, increase energy and improve concentration. In Sanskrit, its name translates to “smell of the horse” which refers to its unique smell and its ability to strengthen immunity. It is classified as an adaptogen, which means that it helps the body and mind to cope with stress and even reduce cortisol levels. Cinnamon
