Also known as ruh khus, vetiver essential oil is sourced from the roots of the vetiver plant. It has a smooth, earthy, heavy aroma & the oil itself is unctuous & golden in color. Vetiver is known as the “Oil of Tranquility” thanks to its stabilizing, nourishing effects on the nervous system. When the mind is feeling scattered & overwhelm is setting in, vetiver is a strong ally to help recenter & ground.
